DENS is a fast-growing startup, DENS’ technology contributes to the realization of the hydrogen economy through the use of formic acid, giving the energy transition a serious boost.

As the Office Manager, you will play a key role in running and growing the Dens office in Helmond. Our growing team needs a reliable, well-organized, proactive Office Manager to support us with administrative and financial tasks. The role requires an entrepreneurial mind, with excellent organizational skills. You will be working for the management team, so you need to have outstanding communication skills. This is a part-time position based on the Automotive Campus in Helmond.

 

Core Responsibilities

  • Supporting the management team
  • Financial administration; managing monthly payroll, managing invoice and purchasing process, process tax returns, preparing annual reports and budgets, managing financial and operational document storage and compliance
  • Managing time reporting for subsidy schemes
  • Data management; you are familiar with SharePoint, responsible for managing and keeping documents up to date
  • Marketing / PR; organizing trade fairs and other events, website management, management of office supplies such as brochures and flyers
  • Onboarding of new employees
  • Coordinating team events
  • Managing all aspects of the general office organization

 

Requirements

  • A good verbal and written knowledge of the Dutch and English language, German is desirable
  • Knowledge of the tax authorities software (Belastingdienst)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Excel, Word en PowerPoint
  • Experience with Exact online and other cloud-based software and apps
  • Completed MBO/HBO education in Business or Administration, or equivalent through professional experience.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment;
  • Ability to make decisions with high-level of uncertainties as to outcomes;
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work;
  • A creative mind with an ability to suggest improvements; Initiative driven; adaptability;
  • Teamwork and collaboration.
  • Reside in the Eindhoven / Helmond area
  • This position is available for 20 hours a week which can be spread over a couple of days per week
